Highbury Tennis Club is a lively, sociable and welcoming club formed of players who train, play and compete on Islington Council courts at Highbury Fields. Newcomers should visit the club’s website and follow instructions to request an assessment for a squad. Levels range from “Rusty Racquets” for those who haven’t played for many years to coached sessions with one of the club’s teams. There are five women’s, three men’s and two mixed doubles teams. The age range is 20 to over sixty and the club will try to find a session that suits your ability but places can be limited. Some sessions fall at weekends and others mid-week.
