Highbury Tennis Club is a lively, sociable and welcoming club formed of players who train, play and compete on Islington Council courts at Highbury Fields. Newcomers should visit the club’s website and follow instructions to request an assessment for a squad. The club caters for “Returners and Improvers” – those who haven’t played for many years – to coached sessions with one of the club’s teams. There are five women’s, four men’s and two mixed doubles teams. The age range is 18 to over seventy and the club will try to find a session that suits your ability but places can be limited. Some sessions fall at weekends and others mid-week.
